The company is set to launch three GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER cards.
ZOTAC is on the brink of showcasing its latest TRINITY BLACK and TWIN EDGE line-ups, powered by the NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER SKU, set to be officially released in just a few days. Our team has acquired exclusive renders of these fresh designs.
The RTX 4070 SUPER Trinity Black is designed to be cooled by a trio of fans, consistent with its non-SUPER variant. A close examination of the images we received reveals subtle tweaks to the heatsink structure, while the exterior shroud and fan layout remain largely unchanged. Additionally, it’s worth noting that the RTX 4070 Trinity already incorporates a single 12VHPWR connector, and this feature remains the same in the SUPER model.
The forthcoming updates to the GPU will see a substantial increase in processing cores, with the count rising from 5888 to 7168 CUDA cores. Moreover, the power requirements for the GPU will see an uptick from 200W to 220W.
For enthusiasts interested in the Twin Edge series, the choice will be available between standard models and those boasting factory overclocking. This series is also transitioning to the modern 12VHPWR power connector, moving away from the traditional 8-pin connector. Despite this change, the 8-pin connector is still adequate for delivering the necessary 220W power. ZOTAC is embracing this modernized power connection, and it is anticipated that the majority of third-party RTX 4070 SUPER models will also feature the 16-pin connector configuration.
ZOTAC is gearing up to introduce their RTX 4070 SUPER series to the public on January 8. However, customers will need to wait a little longer, as the cards are slated for market release 9 days post-announcement. Details on the full specifications and pricing remain undisclosed, pending an official statement from the company.
