Full GeForce RTX 40 specs leaked
NVIDIA has finalized the specs for the GeForce RTX 40 SUPER series.
The upcoming iteration of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER is poised to take the lead in memory speed within the GeForce RTX 40 series. NVIDIA has implemented a boost in memory speed for the SUPER version, pushing it up to an impressive 23 Gbps for the 16GB GDDR6X memory. This enhancement translates to a 2.6% increase in bandwidth, achieving a total of 736 GB/s across a 256-bit memory bus. The RTX 4070 Ti and 4070 SUPER will hold steady with a memory speed of 21 Gbps.
NVIDIA has also released the final clock specifications to its partners, showcasing slight but notable enhancements. The RTX 4080 SUPER, in particular, has received a meaningful update in its clock speed, which is now set at 2295/2550 MHz for base and boost, up from the previous 2205/2505 MHz.
Meanwhile, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER and 4070 SUPER are reported to retain the original boost clock speeds of 2610 MHz and 2475 MHz. However, they will experience a modest increase in their base clock speeds, now at 2340 MHz and 1980 MHz, reflecting an improvement of 30 MHz and 60 MHz, respectively.“
NVIDIA’s RTX 40 SUPER lineup is set to deliver a new level of performance efficiency, with the RTX 4080 SUPER leading at a thermal design power (TDP) of 320W. The RTX 4070 TiS will follow closely at 285W, and the RTX 4070 SUPER will be optimized at 220W, featuring a modest 20W increment in power. Notably, these graphics cards will be equipped with the innovative 12VHPWR power connector, moving away from traditional power connectors.
The launch dates for the NVIDIA RTX 40 SUPER series are strategically set, with the RTX 4070 SUPER hitting the market on January 17, the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER on January 24, and the highly anticipated RTX 4080 SUPER wrapping up the release schedule on January 31. Details on pricing for this cutting-edge series are pending, keeping tech enthusiasts and gamers eagerly waiting.
