Full 65W Intel Raptor Lake Refresh lineup now listed in Spain
The new Core non-k should launch in 10 days.
A retailer based in Spain has recently unveiled the pricing for Intel’s upcoming 14th Generation Core processors that target the mid-tier market. These forthcoming processors, distinguished by their lack of a ‘K’ suffix, are not designed to support extensive overclocking like their unlocked counterparts. Intel is gearing up to launch a diverse lineup that includes processors with different core counts, ranging from 10 to 24 cores, although not all variations are available in the unlocked ‘K’ series.
The pricing for the non-K Core i9-14900 model shows a 7% reduction compared to its K-series sibling. Moreover, the ‘F’ series variant, which omits the integrated graphics feature, is similarly adjusted in price. The price gap between the K and non-K series is even more pronounced for the i7-14700 models, where the 65-watt versions are notably less expensive, by approximately 13-14%.
While the retailer did not list the i5-14600K, the information for the 65-watt version i5-14600 is missing, making a direct price comparison challenging. However, Intel is planning to release the i5-14500 and i5-14400 models, which boast a similar number of cores. These models are marked at a price that is 34% lower than that of the i5-14600K. This significant price reduction suggests that these processors might become highly competitive within Intel’s newest product array.

In a strategic move, Intel is also poised to roll out the 14th Gen Core HX series, which is custom-made for high-performance gaming notebooks. These releases could represent some of the final offerings under Intel’s traditional naming convention. Buzz is also growing around the potential debut of the i9-14900KS, a high-end CPU for enthusiasts. This release is anticipated to be a significant update for the LGA1700 socket before it is phased out. Intel’s transition from the current socket is anticipated to align with the introduction of their Core Ultra 200 desktop series, the Arrow Lake-S CPUs.
