ASUS Expands Its TUF White Radeon Graphics Card Series
Spotlight on the Golden Rabbit Edition RX 7900’s Launch in China and Russia
ASUS has recently unveiled its latest Radeon RX 7900 GRE (Golden Rabbit Edition) graphics card. Interestingly, this model isn’t listed on the global ASUS website but is available through select online retailers in Asia. The official release occurred a few weeks prior without much fanfare.
Targeted at the Chinese market, this GRE model is part of ASUS’s TUF White series, a collection that began with the introduction of the Radeon RX 7800 XT and 7700 XT models in September. The RX 7900 GRE stands out as the latest addition to ASUS’s lineup, featuring a distinctive white cooling design, following the RX 7800 XT as the pioneering model with this elegant white theme.
The ASUS RX 7900 GRE bears a striking resemblance to the RX 7800 XT in design, sporting a three-slot thickness. Its dimensions span 32 cm in length and 15.1 cm in width, which aligns with the RX 7800 XT’s proportions. However, when compared to the RX 7900XTX/XT TUF models, it’s notably more compact, being 3 cm shorter in length and slimmed down by approximately 0.6 slots in thickness.
The ASUS RX 7900 GRE graphics card is engineered with a Navi 31 XL GPU, which boasts an impressive 5120 Stream Processor count. In terms of physical dimensions, it matches the Navi 32 package. Memory-wise, it is equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. Given its specifications and performance, which are on par with the 7800 XT, the introduction of the RX 7900 GRE aligns with expectations set by its predecessors.

On a popular Chinese online platform, at least 78 units of the card have been reported as sold. Each unit is priced at 5299 RMB (equivalent to $747), aligning with the manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the Chinese market as stated by AMD. This specific model is noted to come with factory overclocking features, yet detailed specifications are not readily available. Customers who have purchased this model and are familiar with its specifications are encouraged to share this information.
